Dan Ward, President

Dan has owned and operated Double Diamond Masonry here in Central Oregon since 1988. Starting in the Masonry trade in 1978 as a Mason Tender, over the next 10 years he practiced his craft while working for various companies operating out of Bend, the Portland area, on the Oregon Coast and northern California. In 1988, he began contracting masonry, first concentrating on high end custom homes. As the company grew it began taking on larger commercial projects.

In his spare time, Dan enjoys training for and competing in triathlon and distance running events. He and Kathleen, his wife of 27 years, have 3 children.

Chris Robinson, Project Supervisor,

Lead Mason

Chris has worked for Double Diamond Masonry since graduating from High School in 1998. Beginning as a Mason Tender, he has worked his way up the ranks, learning the masonry trade from the ground up. Chris began supervising work in 2006, and has been in charge of many projects for us, including the new Trader Joe's store in Bend, and North Rim subdivision’s Park Amenities, a project involving approximately $.5 M in natural stone and CMU work involving 6-9 employees over a 4 month period.

Chris's hobbies include riding ATVs and fishing.

Dan Downing, Labor Leader

Dan is a Central Oregon native and has been with Double Diamond for 3 years. Dan’s work ethic and discipline have earned him the respect of all in the company. His leadership role is to provide direction and motivation to the Hod Carriers and laborers in the company, helping to set the pace on company standards for those workers.

Dan loves spending some of his spare time on the Oregon Coast crabbing with friends and family.
